Wild Boar Medicine

Posted on August 12, 2016 at 8:15 PM

The Wild Boar has a long history teaching us about our personal medicine concerning personal power and warrior related aspects concerning the "self". The main keyword when dealing with wild boar medicine is "Confrontation". Confrontation does not always mean in an aggressive form, but in all forms. How we confront things on a daily basis from simple tasks or situations to major obstacles or difficulties, wild boar can be a great freind to have when dealing with any kind of "confrontations".

I have been quite fortunate recently and have had a few occasions in the last year to watch wild boar at work and have had this great creature involve it's medicine with me.

A great lesson to learn through wild boar is to have your priorities straight and erase doubt and fear from your life and you will have a much easier time dealing with any confrontations you may face in your life. To do this you must do what wild boar does as he searches for food, you must also get to the root of things that may be causing doubt or fear and face them as a warrior does and resolve these issues. Nothing can be resolved with out first getting to the root of its cause.

Many think of wild boar as a feirce aggressive beast that is also quick to attack. This is not always the case with this majestic creature. If a wild boar is not sure of himself when "confronted" he may become rather confused and run into trees, trip and fall ect., just due to doubt and fear of his true ability. The more sure and true wild boar is causes him to not waiver and the warrior in him allows great control and courage when he is confronted. This is also the case with us humans when confronted, we either become confused, or we strike out with aggression and erractic behavior, or we do the right thing.

Wild boar teaches us to "think straight" when dealing with confrontations and use our medicine power within to deal with things in a balanced and productive way. You must be present and mindful of the way things actually are and aware of what your confronted with before acting to get the best results and or to do the right thing as a response. Some things are not what they appear to be on the surface and quickly getting to the root of the situation may cause a totally different response than what your mind first is telling you how to behave or react, thus resulting in a completely different outcome.

Wild Boar also reminds us to confront certain things in our lives that we continually are putting off, causing us not to move forward in a balanced and harmonious way. Sometimes putting things off until tomorrow will cause today not to unfold as it should and thus be lacking in some form of movement. Confronting something today that has been continuously put off for some time, putting it behind you now and not later, makes moving forward just a bit easier, sometimes much easier.

Wild Boar has a long history of being a warrior medicine friend in many cultures. The "wise" warrior knows that wild boar not only is good medicine when it comes to confronting another in battle, but also a good friend to have when confronting ourselves in our own battles of everyday living. The "wise" warrior knows that without first confronting our own doubts and fears that we will be in danger or much weaker when confronting others in battle or in everyday life. The "wise" warrior also knows that he must get to the root of all situations that he is facing before acting in haste in order to maintain balance and harmony which surrounds him. Wild Boar teaches important warrior medicine within us all, first to our "self", and then towards others.

Wild Boar medicine is a great and honorable medicine gift if used correctly, for it will make you more of an honorable warrior in battle or in times of peace.

Spider Medicine

Posted on August 6, 2016 at 1:50 PM

The spiders web is a creation of the spiders own truth, not only innocent, beautiful, and perfect when you first closely look at it, but a deadly trap for anyone that gets caught in it......spread across a well traveled path, deception is its invisible power. Very few escape the spiders web.

Once caught in the web, escape seems easy, yet when attempted, escape most often becomes impossible and one becomes more entangled by even the slightest movement.

The spider sits in the middle of the web showing all that it is safe to go around him through deception, only the very wise and very perceptive ones are safe from the spiders agenda.

The spider only wants to eat and live and has no other motives, it is the only way that it knows how to survive, it is its instinct to do what it does.

The spider has no knowledge of evil.

Spider medicine reminds us that we have the power to weave our own web in life and are the architechs and creators of our own destiny.

The web we weave in our life is our own truth, regardless if we do right or wrong.

Since we are human and know evil, spider reminds us that if we choose to lie and deceive others, we will become entangled in our own web. Once trapped in our own web, all will see our foolishness at trying to deceive others by watching us struggle at freeing ourselves from our own wrong-doings.

No liar or deceiver can escape the web, they can only be removed and set free by another through forgiveness, and the broken link in the web must then be repaired.

The spider reminds us that it is alright to be different and unique from all others, yet also reminds us that being different does not make us separate from all others. Spider tells us to go after and capture our dreams and desires with honor and integrity, not with lies and deception.

The web of the spider reminds us that all things are joined together in a sacred circle and that the Creator is in the center of all things.
